Ross Minter (born 10 November 1978) is a professional boxer. Ross Minter is the son of Alan Minter, the former World Middleweight Champion. Minter began boxing professionally in 2001. In his career, he has faced a mixed bag of competition—some legitimate contenders, some who were nothing more than professional opponents. He lost a fight against American boxer Freddy Curiel in ''The Contender Challenge: UK vs. USA'', getting knocked out in the last round of a fight he was winning. On 2 February 2008, he lost by technical knockout to Michael Jennings in a title bout for the World Boxing Union world welterweight crown.
